Farm life around Flamborough

Marton Manor Farm and Tearooms
We have spent three very comfortable months at Marton Manor Farm over the winter months, tucked away in a corner of their courtyard. We have enjoyed numerous coffees, a number of lunches and a few breakfasts in their Tea Rooms, been woken by the donkeys, watched the piglets grow and seen three new lambs being hand reared.

We then decided to move up to Wold Farm again for Easter, the campsite we started at in August last year, so that we could put the awning up and have a bit more room for a couple of weeks.

We were in a corner of the field overlooking fields of ewes and their lambs, they were great fun to watch especially in an evening when they would run around in 'gangs' up and down the fences.

I had a few great walks along the cliff tops, watching the birds including some puffins.

The sunsets were just as good as last time on the cloudless evenings.

We left Flamborough a few days ago and travelled south spending  a couple of nights on a campsite near Theydon Bois.

The dog that befriended us.

We had a couple of lovely days with Rob's cousin Barbara and her husband, James, who he hadn't seen for nearly 60 years. They never stopped talking and caught up with all the family news.
