Canet Plage

We have travelled down to the South of France now and staying not far from the Spanish border near the town of Perpignan in a small place called Canet Plage.

Some scenes along the road.

The campsite we are staying at is called Le Bosqet, it is fairly small in between two larger campsites but quite fine for us. There are a few static caravans (some not bigger than a shed from the outside) for hire and about 60 touring sites with just a few occupied. It was a bit busier at the weekend but quiet during the week.

At the back of the site is a gate which leads to the footpath to the beach where from one side we can see the sea and the other side we can see a snow covered mountain.

As in most of towns around here there is a large Marina nearby and we have had a few walks around them looking at all the posh boats and yachts.

This was one Rob was particularly impressed with. He wasn't sure if the Land Rover would fit in though!!!

We drove a bit further down the coast and came across this very fancy Cruise Liner.

Cruise liner Wind Surf
I wouldn't mind going on a cruise on that, it looks very fancy.
